WACO, Texas (KWTX) - This November several Central Texas school districts will be looking to pass multi-million dollar bonds.

In Bell County, both Temple and Belton ISD are included in this list, looking to improve their facilities and school security.

For the past several months Temple ISD Superintendent, Dr. Bobby Ott, says the community has helped plan the district’s proposition proposal based on their current and future needs.

“Parents have been the primary architect in the design of these plans, and what I’ve done is taken their designs and gone back and forth with different community groups for input and possible revision,” he shared.

On Monday night their board of trustees approved two propositions, the first costing $2.75 million.
