In an email statement to Newsweek on Wednesday, Owens added that Fuentes "is refusing to agree to an actual debate with me."

Newsweek has reached out to Fuentes for comment via X on Wednesday.

Why It Matters

The feud comes after weeks of escalating tensions. In recent days, Fuentes has criticized Owens as well as other prominent conservatives, including Tucker Carlson and former Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) head Elon Musk .

The escalation comes a couple of weeks after Fuentes appeared on Owen's show in July.
