HOUSTON (KIAH) -- When the Willowridge High School football team takes the field for their season opener on Aug. 30, the Eagles might have a little extra wind beneath their wings.
Players and coaches got a visit and a motivational speech Wednesday from Houston Texans legend and first overall pick in the 2006 NFL Draft, Mario Williams.
“Unfortunately, it's been a while since I've kind of been out and about," the four-time Pro Bowl former defensive end said. "I’m definitely looking to change that and get back into the community and just be able to interact with (high schoolers) no matter if it's football or any other sport.”
