LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A man was sentenced Wednesday for his role in a downtown Lincoln shooting in 2024.

Kashaun Lockett, 20, of Omaha got three years in prison and 18 months of probation for being an accessory to a felony.

He was given credit for 193 days already spent behind bars, so he could be eligible for parole in less than a year.

The shooting happened on Sept. 5 near Pinnacle Bank Arena as rap fans were leaving a Sexxy Red concert.

Police said Delshon Levering fired numerous shots.

One of them hit a 19-year-old in the arm, but he was not seriously injured.

Bullets also shattered a hotel window and hit a car that had three people inside.

The arrest affidavit for Lockett was sealed, so it’s not clear how he was involved in the shooting.

Levering is charged with first-degree
