NEW YORK (PIX11) – It’s called the Finance Roadshow. It’s a series of Back-To-School Gaming and financial literacy programs.
Helping high school and college students learn about budgeting and business, it’s the perfect blend of love for hip-hop, culture, finance, and fun.
It was an all-day event for high school and college students in Brooklyn at Medgar Evers College.
The idea is to teach young people about finance while having fun.
Shakima Figuera-Collins is the Brooklyn Community Manager for JPMorgan Chase. Her team was busy on campus, engaging with the community and handing out free book bags and financial coaching to help these students succeed.
Many of them have their first jobs this summer and are receiving their first paychecks.
