BISMARCK — The North Dakota Department of Health and Human Services is seeking pubic input to help shape its Rural Health Transformation Program.
The program was created as part of the "one big beautiful bill" signed into law on July 4. It allocates approximately $500 million to improve rural health care systems from October 2026 though September 2031.
According to a Wednesday, Aug. 13, release from the department, the feedback will be used to gauge the needs of rural communities.
Rural residents, hospitals, clinics, provider networks, community organizations and tribal partners are invited to complete a survey, which should take participants around 15 to 20 minutes to complete, according to the department.
