A certain brand of tractor will not be built in Ohio following the sale of the Foxconn manufacturing plant in Lordstown.

TechCrunch, a media group that covers technology news, is reporting that Praveen Penmetsa, the CEO of Monarch Tractor, confirmed the news in a LinkedIn comment on Tuesday.

"The recent news regarding Foxconn's Ohio manufacturing operations is limited to production at the Foxconn facility and does not impact Monarch's ability to serve our Monarch customers," said Penmetsa in the LinkedIn comment.

Monarch Tractor is the name of a company that sells driver-operated, data-driven and 100% electric tractors. It is headquartered in Livermore, California.
