According to the complaint, Christopher Cooprider dissolved abortion pills into Liana Davis's hot drink and tricked her into drinking it.
Cooprider allegedly got the drugs from a group that provides mail-order abortion pills, something that has increased as more states outlaw abortion.
According to the complaint, Cooprider began talking about abortion after Davis had a positive pregnancy test. She rejected the idea.
Cooprider allegedly then went on to purchase abortion pills that Davis refused to take repeatedly, even when he brought them to her home.
