Georgia soccer will be without its top player for the entire 2025 season.

A knee injury will sideline goalkeeper Jordan Brown, a team spokesman told the Athens Banner-Herald.

The injury occurred in May but had not been disclosed publicly until now on the eve of the Bulldogs opening their season.

Georgia hosts No. 8 UCLA Thursday Aug. 14 at the Turner Soccer Complex.

The 7:30 p.m. game will be televised on ESPNU.

Brown, a senior from Las Vegas, played every minute last season for Georgia, which reached its third straight NCAA Tournament.

She is the No. 19-ranked player in the nation by TopDrawerSoccer and was one of 24 players selected earlier this year to the U.S. Women's National Team Futures Camp.
