Just days ahead of the Northern Arizona soccer team's regular-season opener, Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics Uri Farkas announced Tuesday a five-year contract extension for head coach Alan Berrios.

"Alan Berrios has done a tremendous job leading our soccer program over the last three years, and we are excited to lock him in for another five," Farkas said. "Under Alan's leadership, our soccer program is consistently a contender for the Big Sky Conference championship, and along with the success on the field, his student-athletes have achieved high marks academically and continue to graduate at a high rate." +8
