BECKLEY, WV (WVNS) - Five individuals were celebrated for their achievements as the Raleigh County Family Treatment Court hosted its fourth graduation ceremony.

The program focuses on keeping families together and helping individuals overcome personal struggles. Supreme Court Justice Haley Bunn has worked extensively with Family Treatment Court, and said the program is a positive force for parents and children alike. "It is very important to treat these folks like humans that they are, and to keep in mind that there are children in this situation," she said. "Statistics and studies will show you that the best place for a child to be is in a safe, happy, unified family. What this program does is allow safe reunification."
