Feeding America Riverside San Bernardino (FARSB) issued a statement following the final passage of the federal budget reconciliation bill — the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act” — warning of what the organization called the most significant cuts in a generation to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)/CalFresh and Medicaid. The bill, signed by President Donald Trump on July 4, will remove access to food and health care for millions of children, seniors, veterans and people with disabilities in California and across the United States, the organization said.
