PIKEVILLE, Ky. (WYMT) - Many students are back on the hill as the University of Pikeville prepares to return for its fall semester.

The campus hosted its second of three move-in days on Wednesday, inviting some of the returning students to the dorms.

“It feels great just to see everything start to come back to life, start to see all the activities start back up,” said Lee Upchurch, director of public safety.

Upchurch said the athletes moved back on campus last week, and returning students trickled in on Wednesday.

“It’s been kind of steady. Which obviously we like, so we don’t get too burdened up. Our administration, Bear Pause committee, does a great job of scheduling these so that we’re not covered up. Don’t have an influx of people coming in, trying to access campus all at once,” Up
