Did you see the mysterious object in the skies over Connecticut on Tuesday night? It was captured on video and shared widely on social media.
Well, it turned out to be a rocket launching out of South America headed north.

The NBC Connecticut StormTracker team believes based on timing and direction, the mysterious object was a European Space Agency Rocket launched from French Guiana in South America. It was northbound carrying a polar orbiting satellite.
