Senate President Reassures Hardee County Crowd Amid Growing Debate Over Proposed Tax Relief

In an effort to calm growing anxieties over potential property-tax cuts, Senate President Ben Albritton, R-Wauchula, told a hometown crowd on Monday that lawmakers will take a “measured approach” to the issue, ensuring that financially struggling rural communities are not disproportionately affected.
