BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - Bluegrass Farms Boulevard is wrapping up construction on a one-mile road extension project.
The city’s ultimate goal is to bring more amenities like restaurants and stores into the area as the population grows.
“Bowling Green, as we grow, we’re gonna need more amenities such as housing, more retail, more shopping options, a lot of people are going to Nashville, Louisville, Lexington, a lot of times,” said Bowling Green City Manager Jeff Meisel.
In 2023, the City of Bowling Green made an agreement with Natcher Holdings LLC, the owner of 250 acres of land near Bluegrass Farms Boulevard, to split the little over $6 million road project.
