BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - Temperatures reach to around 90 degrees today with partly sunny skies. Some scattered rain showers and thunderstorms are possible in the afternoon.

HOT WEEKEND: Temperatures will heat up for the weekend into the mid 90s. A few pop-up rain showers can’t be ruled out on Friday afternoon, but the weekend will remain mostly dry.

LOOKING AHEAD: Temperatures will stay very hot into the beginning of next week with highs reaching into the upper 90s by Monday and staying in the mid 90s for Tuesday. Rain chances will begin increase Tuesday and Wednesday.
