SUMNER COUNTY, Tenn. (WSMV) - A former inmate was convicted of assaulting a Sumner County corrections officer, according to District Attorney General Ray Whitley.
A jury returned a guilty verdict for Kevin Daniel Baker on Wednesday for assaulting a corrections officer in 2023.
Baker was charged on November 11, 2023, after he kicked a corrections officer in the knee during a laundry collection because he did not want the linens in his cell to be cleaned.
