Residents in a Van Nuys neighborhood say they’re beyond frustrated as a man continues blasting his home alarms and a set of train horns from his house every day.
Those living on the 6600 block of Peach Street said the noisy disruption has been going on for months and the man responsible for it, Gary Boyadzhyan, said he has no plans to stop.
“He does this periodically several times during the day,” said Bob Donovan, a neighbor. “It only shuts off when the air runs out because it’s blasted by air. Then he turns it back on. It has a range of 3.5 miles. It’s an actual train horn.”
Boyadzhyan claims he has a long-running grievance with LAPD's Van Nuys division over a personal issue and that the loud sirens are his way of getting the department's attention.
