CINCINNATI (WXIX) - The Cincinnati Police Department says a woman was injured in a shooting in Queensgate Wednesday evening.

Police were dispatched to the area of Sixth Street and Linn Street for reports of a person shot around 8:20 p.m. Wednesday.

When officers arrived, they say they found a woman with a gunshot wound to the back, suffering non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect is believed to be a male driving a black vehicle.

Police have not released a motive for the shooting or any info leading up to it.
