BATH, N.Y. (WETM) — An Elmira man and a Montour Falls woman were arrested in August after a collaborative investigation by multiple law enforcement agencies into suspected ongoing child abuse of someone under four years old, as stated in a release from New York State Police (NYSP).

Justin J. Baker, 24, of Elmira, and Caitlin Marie Taft, 27, of Montour Falls, were arrested in early August, the release said. More specifically, Baker was arrested on Friday, Aug. 8, and Taft was arrested on Monday, Aug. 11, the release noted.

Baker was arrested on Friday on the following charges, according to NYSP: • Enterprise corruption (class B Felony) • Seven counts of assault in the second degree – person 18 years or older causing injury to a person under seven years old (class D Felony) • Five co
