Taylor Swift has given an update on how her dad, Scott Swift, is faring after heart surgery. "My dad had an interesting summer," the singer shared on Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce's New Heights podcast. "He actually had a quintuple bypass surgery, and that's a really intense surgery." Swift noted that things happened "really fast" as Scott, who is 73, had historically had a "perfect EKG" in his physicals over the years. However, after undergoing a resting stress test, doctors found he had five blockages and advised him to get the procedure done right away. Doctors told him, "We gotta do this tomorrow. We don't know how you walked in here," Swift recalled. She further shared that she and partner Kelce, as well as her mum and brother, were by her dad's side to help him with his recovery. "We moved in with him for the whole summer, pretty much. He couldn't really walk on his own. We had a harness for my dad. He was like the loveliest patient ever. He kept saying thank you over and over again." She added her dad is now doing "incredible". As for her mum, Andrea, Taylor said that she too is doing "great" after undergoing a knee surgery.
