Wednesday extended New Hampshire's fourth heat wave of the year, with highs reaching the 90s across most areas.

Several severe thunderstorm warning were issued early Wednesday evening for parts of central and southern New Hampshire.

A flash flood warning followed for southeastern Hillsborough County and southwestern Rockingham County, lasting until 10:15 p.m.

Some storms produced heavy rain and strong wind gusts, knocking down trees and wires in Hollis.

Storms have since eased, and mild weather is expected overnight with lows in the 60s and some patchy fog.

HEAT HISTORY
