PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- The Seattle Seahawks rounded out their three-week training camp on Tuesday and have a number of players with local ties active on the roster for the upcoming season.
The most highly anticipated one is the arrival of Super Bowl MVP Cooper Kupp. He was born and raised in Yakima, Washington, before attending college at Eastern Washington University.
At EWU, Kupp was a consensus FCS All-American for four straight years, earned First-Team All-America honors, was the first wide receiver in the Big Sky Conference to win First-Team All-Big Sky honors in four straight seasons, and was only the second wide receiver in 42 years to take home the Big Sky Conference Offensive MVP Award.
Kupp is the first player in NFL history to record 600+ receptions, 7,500+ receiving yards
