Illinois Governor JB Pritzker on Wednesday roasted the Texas Attorney General on social media.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton posted on X that Texas is "not worried" about Prtizker's promise to fight Texas on its electoral redistricting efforts. Pritzker posted a blistering response.

"On biblical grounds, I think you should sit this one out," Pritzker wrote, referring to a statement Paxton's ex-wife Angela issued announcing their divorce.

Pritzker made the comments at a time when Paxton and Texas Governor Greg Abbott are trying to force Texas Democrats to return from Illinois so they can pass new electoral maps. Democrats fled the state to break the quorum of a special session Abbott called to address flooding issues and redraw the electoral maps.

Paxton has tried to have the Democrats arrested for leaving the state, although he has not yet been successful in obtaining an arrest warrant, according to media reports.

Paxton was replying to comments Pritzker made during the Illinois Democratic County Chairs' Association Brunch

"It's time to stop apologizing when we're not wrong," Ptizker said in the video Paxton posted. "And it's time to stop surrendering when we need to fight."

"Yes, folks, we are messing with Texas," Pritzker added.
