WHARTON COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A juror is coming under fire in Wharton County for posting about a case on social media.
That juror told ABC13 he only posted to ask for prayers and said he can't mentally handle it. He also said he did not identify the case and claimed he quickly took down the post.
However, ABC13 received a screenshot of a comment where the juror responded to someone, saying it was the murder of an innocent, defenseless infant.
Legal expert Michael Wynne, who's not connected to the case, said this type of behavior causes issues.
"It can compromise the integrity of the case to the extent it has any influence on the other jurors on the panel. It may need to be questioned to find out what, if anything, happened prior to this, and it's just a shame because it takes a whil
