INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Metro Police Department is investigating a crash involving a semi and a motorcycle that left one person critically injured.

According to the Indianapolis Metro Police Department, at 9:40 p.m., a semi truck was turning left into a gas station in the 2600 block of North Emerson Avenue and decided to make a U-turn when he realized it was closed. That is when the motorcycle the semi-trailer.

The driver of the motorcycle has been transported to Eskenazi Hospital, where they remain in critical condition. The semi truck driver has also been transported to the hospital to take a blood test.

The crash is currently under investigation.
