Local fire departments help extinguish NH brush fire

NORTH HAMPTON, NH — Local fire departments including Salisbury, Amesbury and Newburyport recently helped North Hampton firefighters battle a multi-acre brush fire in an operation that lasted almost a week.

Interim North Hampton Fire Chief Jacob MacGlashing reports that his firefighters, with significant support from numerous mutual aid partners from three states, is winding down operations.
