There was no shortage of action in Wednesday's clash between the Chicago Sky and the Connecticut Sun. These two teams may hold the two worst records in the WNBA right now, but there's no denying that both sides were playing with a lot of fire.
So much so that three players were ejected in the first half after a heated scuffle. The altercation started after Sun guard Bria Hartley delivered a hard foul on the Sky's Rebecca Allen, who pulled on Hartley's jersey as she hit the deck. Hartley did not appreciate the gesture and started screaming at Allen.
It was at that point that two-time All-Star guard Ariel Atkins rushed in to defend her Sky teammate. Atkins charged at Hartley, and the two had to be separated by teammates, game officials and the coaching staff.
