MACON, Ga. — The Northeast Raiders are coming off one of their most historic seasons leading them to their first state championship . Now, a new band of Raiders are working toward another playoff run.

"Don't want to say redemption or nothing like that but they way we've been working trying to get back and fix you know mistakes that we made last year," said head coach Jeremy Wiggins.

Wiggins said that it's a different kind of excitement coming off a trip to the state championship. Last year the Raiders came up short against Toombs County.

"This year's a whole different team you still always got players that had the experience from last year, so we just want to use the experience that we had last year going into this year and hopefully the leadership will carry us this year," Wiggins sa
