Teenagers will be tearing open envelopes or frantically refreshing their inboxes, waiting to see if all their hard work has paid off. School corridors, homes and local cafes are likely to be buzzing as parents, relatives and friends hover nearby for support. Teachers will also be on hand to offer congratulations, reassurance, or a listening ear if things haven't gone to plan.
