Bindi Irwin says she's finally starting to feel like herself again after undergoing her emergency appendectomy earlier this summer, which also resulted in the removal of 14 endometriosis lesions and a hernia repair .

The Crocodile Hunter's daughter has previously spoken out about her diagnosis of endometriosis , with the pain becoming so severe during her pregnancy with her daughter, Grace Warrior , that she feared she was experiencing a miscarriage , but doctors dismissed her pain when she sought help.

Now, following her second surgery, things are finally starting to look up, which she shared with her fans in a vulnerable new update on Instagram today, Aug. 13.
