It's a day of mixed emotions as thousands of students around the UK received their A-Level results on Thursday.

It's a milestone event that no doubt many of the royals will remember clearly from their own school days.

We've taken a look back at how the royal family performed in their A-Level results. And you may find some of them quite surprising!

The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh 's daughter, Lady Louise Windsor was the last British royal to receive her A-Level results in 2022, after studying English, History, Politics and Drama as her subjects.
