A 'tiny but mighty' Manchester boozer has undergone a facelift after a significant investment. The Railway in West Didsbury , just off Burton Road has been transformed into a vibrant community hub thanks to a £200,000 makeover.
Owners, Joseph Holt Brewery, which owns 127 pubs across the North West, have invested significantly, giving the building itself a full facelift. The refurbishment aimed to retain the cosy, traditional pub feel while opening the space and modernising the interiors.
The result is a brighter, more open-plan layout, with new lighting, flooring, furniture, and fresh décor - all without losing the Railway’s unique character.
The pub was already enjoying a new lease of life thanks to landlady Stacey Saunders and her partner Mark Wilson, who took over in October 2023.
