CLEVELAND, Ohio — Guardians manager Stephen Vogt says the difference in Brayan Rocchio as a hitter since he returned from a stint in the minor leagues is his confidence at the plate.
Rocchio has hit safely in nine of his 10 games since the start of August, including four straight. He is batting .324 (11-for-34) with two doubles and five RBI. The Venezuela native also recorded a stolen base in consecutive games for the first time in his career with his fifth theft on Tuesday.
