Construction is underway in Cumberland County on four major road projects , according to the North Carolina Department of Transportation.

NCDOT spokesperson Andrew Barksdale said in February that the projects were developed with input and support from the Fayetteville Area Metropolitan Planning Organization, and were designed to "greatly increase highway safety" and ease congestion.
