LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville Metro Police is investigating a fatal shooting that happened in the Chickasaw neighborhood Wednesday evening.

Police said they were called to the 4100 block of West Broadway on a call of a shooting around 9 p.m.

When officers arrived they found a woman who had been shot. First responders transported her to the hospital where she died.

LMPD said there aren't any known suspects.
