The new owners of a beloved Dauphin County ice cream shop are hoping to add some new “flavor” to the local ice cream scene.

Chill Ice Creamery, located at the Hershey Fresh Market, serves its customers over 30 different flavors of ice cream with unique flavors from Hershey Ice Cream and Urban Churn.

The creamery was looking for new owners and wound up in the hands of a Pennsylvania-native husband-and-wife team, Gerhard and Cristy Mullican.

Gerhard said that owning a small business had been a conversation between the pair for quite a while, and the couple was able to secure Chill Ice Creamery earlier this year.

“We had a conversation in March, I think,” Gerhard said. “We were on a trip and found a really cool shop. One day, I was looking at some classifieds and saw that this shop was
