100 Years Ago, 1925: One hundred and fifty boys representing the carrier force and street sales force of the Chester Times met at the circulation department of the Chester Times this morning for their annual picnic. The lads were conveyed to and from Chester Park by trucks. Sports of all kinds were on the program. The outstanding feature of the day was a treasure hunt, which took the boys all over the park and ending at the old spring in the woods. All the boys took part in this novel feature and voted it the best game of the day.
