Kelly Clarkson has withdrawn from the line-up of an upcoming benefit concert following the death of her ex-husband Brandon Blackstock. The Because of You hitmaker, who shares two children with the late talent manager, will no longer perform at Band Together Texas, a concert to support those affected by July's devastating floods, on Sunday 17 August. "Unfortunately, Kelly Clarkson will be unable to appear at Band Together Texas as planned, due to personal circumstances," the concert's organisers wrote on Instagram Stories, according to Taste of Country. "We send our love to Kelly and her family." Clarkson is no longer listed on the line-up for Band Together Texas, which will take place at the Moody Center in Austin. The show will feature performances from Miranda Lambert, Parker McCollum and Cody Johnson, as well as appearances from Texan actors Matthew McConaughey and Dennis Quaid. Blackstock died on 7 August at the age of 48 after a private three-year battle with melanoma, a form of skin cancer. The day before he died, the singer postponed the remainder of her August Studio Session shows in Las Vegas, revealing that Blackstock was ill and she needed to be "fully present" for their children, River, 11, and Remington, nine. The star is currently on summer hiatus from her talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show. The 43-year-old was married to Blackstock from 2013 to 2020. Their divorce was finalised two years later.
