PSEG Long Island’s Luke Hession of Long Beach was the seventh fastest runner in the CBIZ Workplace Challenge held Aug. 5 at Jones Beach State Park. Hession’s time of 19:42 was the fastest among the PSEG Long Island racers. In addition to Hession’s achievement, PSEG Long Island earned two awards – for participation and money raised. CBIZ awarded PSEG Long Island with the “Greatest Participation Award” and “Beneficiary Fund Challenge Award” for having the most participants and for raising the most money on top of registration fees. More than 550 employees and their families registered for the event, hundreds of whom enjoyed the company’s annual barbecue on the beach.
