An overwhelmed mom from Minnesota couldn't believe what her mother-in-law did when she met her grandchild for the first time.
Jessica Miller (@mind_yourboundaries) was unsure how she would navigate the blur of early motherhood.
"I remember thinking, as we pulled away from the hospital, 'They are just letting us take her home,'" the 28-year-old told Newsweek . "The first few days are hazy. I felt really scared , not wanting to hurt her or mess anything up."
With no rules in place for visitors —the baby was the first grandchild on her husband Ryan's side—Jessica expected the steady stream of family to be eager for newborn cuddles .
