Tween and teen fashion accessories chain Claire’s has plunged into administration putting more than 300 stores at risk including two in West Lothian.
Around 2,150 jobs are at risk across the company's UK and Ireland stores - including those at the Almondvale Centre and Livingston Designer Outlet - after the high street retailer’s US parent firm said it filed a formal notice to administrators from advisory firm Interpath.
In a statement on Wednesday evening, Interpath confirmed Will Wright and Chris Pole have been appointed joint administrators.
