Some state pensioners may spot unusual payments landing in their bank accounts over the next few weeks.

The August bank holiday will result in payments arriving at different times for some people.

And it's led to a warning for those expected to get their pension payments on the bank holiday, Monday, August 25.

These people should instead receive their payments on Friday, August 22, the closest working day beforehand.
