The Cleveland-based Two Mile Moon makes melodic, high-energy songs rooted in ‘90s alt rock and power pop, and its upcoming album, Ego Death Metal , features a style that the band calls Pop Rock Extremism. The songs are framed through the lens of the singer, who uses the stage name Billy Flowers to reflect that he’s a fictional frontman from 1998 who’s still adjusting to the modern world.

“I had a batch of songs I wrote from 2019 to 2022 that I wanted to bring to life on stage,” says Flowers in a press release. “In August 2022, we played our first show as a four-piece at the Grog Shop and haven’t stopped since.
