TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - We the People , WCTV’s year-long effort to highlight local trailblazers and history makers, continued Wednesday with a trip to the Gulf Specimen Marine Lab.

Jacob Murphey sat down with the lab’s founder, Jack Rudloe, to explore the fascinating 60-year history of the lab and how the sea creatures living inside have spurred scientific and medicinal breakthroughs.
