A man who allegedly threw chunks of concrete at officers conducting an immigration enforcement operation in Paramount, and was added to the FBI’s “Most Wanted list”, is expected to be arraigned Thursday on a federal charge.

Elpidio Reyna, 39, of Compton, faces a charge of assault on a federal officer, court papers show.

Reyna was taken into custody July 23 at the U.S.-Mexico border in a negotiated surrender, the FBI said.

The defendant allegedly threw concrete rocks at law enforcement on June 7 on Alondra Boulevard, “injuring a federal officer and damaging government vehicles,” according to the FBI’s Los Angeles field office.
