In his most recent start, Noah Cameron silenced the Minnesota Twins.

Over 5-and-2/3 innings, he allowed only six hits and two walks while striking out four. Overall, he tossed 91 pitches and allowed zero runs. The bullpen took things from there and the Royals won, 2-0, helping Cameron improve his record to 6-5.

But that’s not all he improved.

On the season, through 16 games started, Cameron now sports a 2.52 ERA (62% above league-average), a 3.66 FIP, a 1.032 WHIP, and he’s struck out 76 batters compared to walking 27 (one intentionally). Opponents are just not hitting him as they’re slashing a mere .205/.267/.319. That works out to a .586 OPS, which is not good for them, but great for the Royals and Cameron.
