Pete Davidson wasn’t a fan of his “BDE” era.

The Saturday Night Live alum reflected on the attention his love life — and his social-media appointed “big d--k energy” — used to receive in the early years of his career, noting it negatively impacted his work as a comedian.

“I was embarrassed by it,” Pete, 31, explained during his Aug. 13 interview on The Breakfast Club . “Now it’s starting to change a bit, but no one talked about any work I was doing. They were just like, ‘Oh, that’s the f--k stick.’ And that hurt so much.”
