MILWAUKEE, Wis. — The Milwaukee Brewers will hold a celebration of life on Aug. 24 honoring beloved Brewers broadcaster Bob Uecker, who died at 90 on Jan. 16.
Brewers fans are invited to the tribute, which will take place before and during the Brewers game against the San Francisco Giants. First pitch is scheduled for 1:10 p.m.
Born and raised in Milwaukee, Uecker began his professional playing career in 1962. At the time, Milwaukee’s team was the Braves. H
